L.T. Beaton (Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club)

NACE is amazing. At the meetings I have the opportunity to meet the best people, who have become preferred vendors at the club I work for. NACE allows me to connect with other hospitality people in the valley to share knowledge on industry updates while enjoying the wonderful monthly meetings.

Rich Amooi (Hey Mr. DJ Entertainment)

"NACE is a big part of my life and has benefitted me tremendously. The monthly meetings are informative and also a chance for me to step away from my computer to establish contact with people who share the same passion that I have for our industry. I have met some wonderful people in NACE who have become my friends. (It's a bonus that those friends happen to send me business now as well!) NACE is a must for someone who is just starting a new business and needs to spread the word or for a more established business looking to take it to the next level."

Staci Tamaki (The Flirty Guide)

The question is how has NACE helped my business? Well for starters I've met some really great people by attending NACE meetings. I've also been able to catch up on what colleagues I haven't seen in awhile have been up to. And in the past year a couple of events particularly stand out like the early morning blogging intensive with Andy Ebon and I really enjoyed last night's guest speaker Syndi Seid who shared great advice about how to exercise etiquette in business by getting to the core of what etiquette is all about.

Amy Frugoli (Twitterpated Weddings)

"Since joining NACE, I have met some incredible wedding and event professionals that I have built strong relationships with. At my very first meeting, I felt welcomed and I was comfortable interacting with the members immediately. By networking and getting to know such a great group of professionals, I feel confidant referring and working with them. Joining NACE was one of the best decisions I made when I started my business."

Mel Gilman (Mel's Events by George)

I have been a member since Silicon Valley NACE started, in 1983. I served as the chapter's Treasurer for many years, and recently I received help with a huge function using members from this chapter.

Reverend Layne (KISSABLE-Weddings)

I've been lurking in the background trying to figure out if NACE/SV is a place for me to invest my time, my energy, my money. I thing - I know - that it is. The members have warmly welcomed me into their group and have been more than cordial along the way. I'm making new contacts and have started to receive referrals from my peers for wedding officiant ceremonial services. In many ways, it's a "pro quid pro" sort of relationship. I can help my NACE peers by offering them a means for differentiating their services and in return the referral to me as an able wedding officiant specialist allows me the opportunity to provide my services.

NACE is a winner - all the way. If you're sitting on the edge wondering if this is the group you should be a member of... let me assure you that it is not just THE place, but maybe THE ONLY place you need to be...

Sharon Sacks (Bridal Extravanganza)

A member since 1998, NACE has given me the opportunity to meet with so many in the hospitality industry. In order to get business, you need to know who is who. There is nothing like personal contact to help you increase your business and to be able to help others. The friendships and relationships make NACE a high priority in my networking.
